Fitness Coach – Texas
Liz was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia. Known for never being able to sit still, Liz knew her career would involve living an active lifestyle. From an early age, she was accused of being far too energetic. She danced ballet for thirteen years, interspersed with soccer, basketball, and powder puff football. Sports came naturally to her. When she entered high school, recognizing her love for everything active, she knew her career would be in the fitness industry, and she never looked back.
Liz received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University, State College, specializing in Fitness Studies. During her time as a student, in addition to assisting in the instruction of Les Mills group exercise classes, she was a regular sub for Abs classes, individual training and fitness internships. Liz’s personality lends itself well to group fitness instruction. She is a certified Group Exercise Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Other certifications include Zumba Instructor, Zumba Toning Instructor, TRX Instructor Certification and American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification. “I am so thrilled to work with Shane Diet & Fitness Resorts in San Antonio at The Westin La Cantera. It is a dream come true. I can’t think of anything more exciting than taking my passion for a healthy lifestyle to help others who are seeking to change their lives by improving their own health and fitness.”
In her spare time Liz loves kayaking, paddle boarding, the beach and continuing training and classes to build her own level of expertise in the process. One of her favorite quotes has been an inspiration to many of her students as well as to herself, and that is, “You don’t have to be great to start, you have to start to be great. “ (Zig Ziglar)
